We came in after visiting the band programs at Kenedy ISD. I went to college at Texas A&I and remember TJs was always so good so I gave this location a whirl. We were greeted immediately and had drinks and chips and salsa promptly. The menu is a little much, but why not be able to choose from a vast array of yummy food. We ordered the queso flameado, cheese enchiladas, chicken and beef fajita tacos, and a sweet tea. Everything came out within minutes and when I asked for a to go tea, I got enough tea to last me til I get back to SA. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back! My compliments to the staff today!

I've literally eaten here 3-4 times a week for the last 9 years. It's very consistent. The staff is great. I have eaten here hundreds of times. It's all very good. Breakfast is great and so is anything off the grill. Enjoy everything on the menus.

A great value. Good atmosphere, attentive staff, clean restaurant, and very affordable. Nice little bar as well. Food was adequate. I'll definitely be back.

The food here is decent (not great, but not bad) with many many choices, and I'd definitely classify the experience here as "chill." Unfortunately, my friend who was with me threw up immediately after eating, most likely due to food poisoning.
The reason I'm giving this place 2 stars (in addition to the food poisoning) is because the menu is very "shadily" written. For example, I ordered a frozen margarita with a beer in it, which was labeled $3.75. Imagine my surprise when I was informed that it was $8.99. This is because the way that the menu is formatted shows the title of the margarita with the beer together (as $3.75), but the staff told me only the beer is $3.75, even though the title of the margarita and beer were together. The price of $8.99 was not even anywhere on the menu. So please watch out for that.
I personally do not appreciate restaurants with bad practices, and the food was only okay. If you come, make sure to watch out for the less than reputable business tactics. -
